Aluminium slats and plastic floor

The slats are the only part that touches the cargo. With the right profile, light cargo doesn't slip, grain doesn't leak through the gaps and wet cargo doesn't drip on the road.

Range and uses from HALLCO's industry solutions pages. Widths from the HALLCO Australia quick reference guide; widths available in Vietnam are confirmed when we quote.

NLR-HD: thick enough to take the impact

Recyclables and scrap often have sharp edges and land hard on the floor during loading. HALLCO made the NLR-HD thicker to absorb impact while still limiting product loss.

  • Triple-ridge profile for durability
  • 22 mm thick
  • Four vertical ribs for a stiff floor with less twist
  • High-grade aluminium alloy
  • A 21-slat kit fits most trailers
  • 3.6 m long bearings that cover more area

Plastic floor

Alongside its aluminium profiles, HALLCO makes a plastic floor slat to a patented design. The company is also introducing a new drive called Shredder to go with the plastic slats.

Little technical information on this line is public yet, so Nhu Tin does not list specifications here. If you are interested, tell us your cargo and hauling conditions; Nhu Tin will ask the factory and send you the relevant documents.

Bearings and subdeck

The parts under the slats are rarely mentioned, but they decide whether the floor runs smoothly and lasts.

  • Easy Bearing3.6 m long, covers a large area.
  • Continuous bearing (leak resistant)2.7 m sections for sealed floors.
  • Strip bearingFor 97 mm and 112 mm slats.
  • FlicOn bearingHDPE plastic, clips onto the subdeck.
  • SubdeckM-Easy type, and a raised type for leak-resistant floors.

Replacing slats? Take three measurements

When ordering replacement slats for a HALLCO floor in service, measure three dimensions of the old slat as HALLCO describes:

  1. Leg to leg: the distance between the two legs under the slat.
  2. Thickness: the thickness of the slat top.
  3. Top width: measured across the top of the slat.

Include the serial number and model of the drive. The serial plate is on the rear base manifold, in the middle, or where the switching valve mounts. If the plate is missing, send Nhu Tin photos of the drive, the floor and the part you need.
