HALLCO® factory warranty
This page summarises the "i-Series Limited Warranty" issued by HALLCO Industries, Inc. Where there is any difference, the factory's original document applies.
Warranty term
Applies only to the first owner of a new i-Series system bought from the factory or a distributor.
| Term | Coverage and conditions |
|---|---|
| 2 years | The complete i-Series system. Counted from the date of delivery to the first owner. |
Buying through an authorized dealer helps you meet the two conditions that make the warranty valid: the system is installed to HALLCO® procedures and registered with the factory within 10 days of delivery.
Owner obligations
- The warranty card must be completed and returned to HALLCO within 10 days of delivery
- The equipment may only be used and maintained under normal operating conditions
- Follow the maintenance and operating procedures recommended by the factory
- Report any problem to the trailer manufacturer or HALLCO within 10 business days
What normal operation means
For vehicles: loading and unloading evenly distributed, non-corrosive cargo that is properly secured, driven on well-maintained public roads, with a gross vehicle weight within the manufacturer's rating stated in the manual.
For stationary systems: moving evenly distributed, non-corrosive material in amounts within the rated capacity.
Not covered by the warranty
- Normal wear and routine maintenance
- Damage caused by equipment not supplied by HALLCO
- Damage from dirty oil or oil of the wrong type for the manual
- Damage from overheated oil, above 82 °C
- Damage from corrosive cargo
- Damage from overloading or misuse
- Damage from repairs by unauthorized third parties
- Filter elements and wear parts
- Electrical component failure caused by wrong wiring or voltage
The warranty is void if
- The system is used for a purpose HALLCO does not recommend
- The tractor's hydraulic system does not meet HALLCO's recommendations
- The i-Series system is not installed correctly
- Loads exceed the factory's or the legal limits without HALLCO's written permission
The system must be installed following the procedures in the HALLCO installation manual.
Registration and claims
-
01
Registration
Under HALLCO rules, whoever sells to the end user, the dealer or trailer manufacturer, is responsible for registering the warranty. Nhu Tin completes and sends the card at handover.
-
02
Report a problem
Call 0907 917 301 within 10 business days with photos, the serial number and a description of the fault.
-
03
Inspection
Nhu Tin inspects the system, determines whether the fault is covered and works with the factory.
-
04
Repair or replace
The warranty remedy is repair or replacement of the defective part at a HALLCO-authorized facility.
The HALLCO warranty is not a service contract and does not cover indirect losses such as vehicle downtime or towing costs. See the original document for details.
Keep your warranty with proper maintenance
Most lost warranties come down to the hydraulic system. Things to do regularly:
- Use anti-wear (AW) oil of ISO viscosity 32 to 46
- Keep the oil below 82 °C and watch the thermometer on the tank
- Keep water in the oil below 1%
- Replace the pressure filter (60 micron max) and return filter (25 micron max) on schedule
- Never exceed the rated load of the drive and the trailer
Other product lines
The document on this page covers the i-Series. For the W Floor, BRUTE, replacement slats and stationary systems, Nhu Tin confirms the warranty terms with the factory and states them in your quote.
